Gall bladder problems
Posted by: | CommentsRecently, I told the story about my gall bladder problems and how I ate small low fat meals, and took herbs to cure the problem.
As a result, I have twenty five pounds over the nine months period.
Now I am happily much slimmer and fit well into medium size clothes.
But now I have to wear long sleeves because the skin on my formerly plump arms is wrinkly.
What to do?
I will experiment with a richer body lotion that includes coconut oil along with the safflower and grape seed oil. Instead of plant wax I will use bees wax, which has a stronger ability to keep moisture in the skin.
I will report back in two weeks.
Happy New Year.
My nine months fight to heal my gall bladder.
Posted by: | CommentsIn February of 2009 I had a major gall bladder attack. Everyone of my relatives have had their gall bladder removed. I decided to keep mine.
I ate small meals very little fat, small dabs of butter, olive oil a or coconut oil .I ate grits, buckwheat groats, quinoa, vegetables and fruit. A little bit of meat. No milk or cheese. I took a daily teaspoon of codliver oil once I could tolerate it again.
I lost 25 pounds and am still losing weight because I want the weight that is best for my height and build..
I supplemented with Dr. Christopher’s liver and gall bladedr herbs.
We recently discovered Tulsie tea from India. It is the herb “holy basil”, a sacred plant in India.
I will be drinking that for the rest of my life.
It is wondeerful.
My gall bladder has calmed down and I am happy
Greetings
Elly
What you put on your skin should be as pure as what you put into your mouth.
Posted by: | CommentsThe skin is nourished by proper blood flow. If a product is designed to maintain the skin the blood flow will pick it up. Eventually it will go to the liver.
What do you think will happen to your liver if you keep putting synthetic products on your skin.?
The other day, I was shopping at a national vitamin shop. The shop also carries many highly reputed skin care lines. I usually browse to look at my competition.
Here is what I found in some of these products for the skin and my question to you is:
Would you eat dimethicone, a synthetic vegetable glycerin (it has been found in women with breast cancer) Would you eat oil alcohols? Would you eat propylene glycol. Would you eat methyl or propyl paraben?
For me it is simply this, if it is not edible it is unsafe for my skin.
Therapeutic effect of high quality essential oils
Posted by: | CommentsHigh quality essential oils are steam distilled from petals, leaves, stems and or roots of plants. The scent of these oils effects the limbic system in the brain and therefore has a therapeutic effect. Lavender is calming, lemongrass is energizing and cinnamon is strengthening. Essential oils are also anti-microbial and keep a lotion stable.
When I talk about my own essential oil blends, I am referring to a mixture of several oils of equal quality to create a complex scent that is pleasing and healing at the same time.

The Truth About Organic Skin Care
Posted by: | CommentsAn interesting article I came across about Organic Skin Care by Laurel Levine
It’s unbelievable. I still sometimes have a hard time believing that so many people choose the chemically laden products that are distributed by the major cosmetics companies over the safer, more effective organic skin care products that many of the smaller manufacturers are selling. There are some that will even argue that a lot of the products that the major corporations are selling are organic, but that is not entirely true.
Many of the big companies do manufacture products that they advertise as being organic, and they will contain a few all natural ingredients in them. If you were to further examine the ingredients label though you would find that these products are also laced with harmful chemical additives, and preservatives. The chemicals that they use in these products are dangerous.
Truly organic skin care products would not contain ingredients such as this in them. A large number of the chemicals that are widely used in cosmetics products have been deemed as toxic by both the scientific community and the U.S. FDA. There was even a recent attempt by the FDA to have these ingredients banned for use in cosmetics products, but it was overturned in court.
The reason that the FDA attempted this ban was for the same reason that the European Union outlawed the use of these ingredients. These ingredients have been found to be organ and neurotoxins, endocrine system disruptors, and carcinogens. It should be illegal for the cosmetics companies to include items that can cause you to develop cancer, but apparently the courts don’t see this as a crime.
There is absolutely nothing harmful about the use of organic skin care products. All natural ingredients are in fact far more effective for use on your skin, because they contain certain properties such as essential omega fatty acids and have considerable antioxidant power. They also closely resemble the natural oil that your skin produces, so these ingredients are readily absorbable by your skin.
There are some all natural products that are being made that are superior to all of the others though so far as effectiveness goes. There are even products available that can take years off of your appearance through the ability to dramatically elevate the production of your collagen, elastin, and your hyaluronic acid. The increased level of these three tissues will cause your wrinkles to simply melt away.
This effect is unique to the organic skin care products that are being manufactured by a company based in New Zealand. They have made the discovery that through the use of two unique ingredients they can reverse the processes that cause your skin to age. All of this is done through complex proteins, and a Japanese kelp extract.
Bottom line, if I were going to choose an organic skin care line to use then I would choose on that has been as well developed as this one is, because it is not often that you find a line of products that can actually make a difference in your appearance. These are the type of safe and effective products that the world has been waiting for.
